CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING: DOBBIACO
Lovely very comfortable hotel run by a family creating a friendly, home like atmosphere. Sarah and Rita are also fun and helpful – making me (a single traveller) wanting to go back year after year. Great group company, endless trails, wonderful scenery and a five course evening meal to finish the day off. Just great!
Most Inspirational Moment
The sheer beauty of the Dre Cime and the Fichleintal and being the first to ski on freshly groomed trails.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Inspiring, motivational, fun and pitched everything exactly at the right level for each member of the group to progress them to their best. Such a lovely person all round.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Just go and try it!!! You can do it.

SIERRA DE AITANA TREK
Great holiday. Came home completely relaxed and feeling fit. Good solid challenging (for me) walks meant every day felt like an achievement. And the food was fantastic.
Most Inspirational Moment
Looking down on the tower blocks of Benidorm from the peace and quiet of the mountains. A quick February swim in Vila de Joiosa on the free day. Finding a Nutella sandwich in the lunch bag on a long day. The specatcular views on every walk. A cold beer at the end of a long day.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Jose was an excellent leader. He is so enthusiastic about sharing his beloved Sella and the local area. However, make sure all your gear is matching!! He takes looking good on the mountain very seriously. However, he also takes looking after the group seriously as well, and he was really good company for the week.
Advice for Potential Travellers
We were there in February and during a cold spell. We needed all our warm clothes on the mountain and in some of the accommodation. Bring walking poles, some of the ascents/ descents are quite steep and on rough tracks. Be prepared for fairly long (but really rewarding) days. Try all the food- it is fantastic.

CYCLE INDOCHINA & ANGKOR
A really first class trip, completed with a great group of people, excellent leaders, fabulous weather (if a litttle hot!), excellent bikes and more than reasonable (on the whole) hotels. Visiting both Angkor Wat and Pnomh Penh Killing Fields provided some hugely thought provoking moments and added a dimension to this wonderful tour
Thoughts on Group Leader
We had a group leader throughout plus a guide for Thailand/Cambodia and then another for Vietnam. They were all really lovely knowledgable people and happy to help in any way possible. The cycling is supported at a level you will never probably see again. Our watermelon was cut and waiting for us at every stop along with at least one fruit we didn't know, our bikes were washed and tyres pumped up every morning, our punctures were fixed within minutes .......
Advice for Potential Travellers
Whilst the cycling is not challenging, the distances and heat (38C/100F for us) in the first 3 days are. Cover up and apply lots of sunscreen (both of which I ignored to my cost) After that it's a doddle!!

SPICE TRAILS OF KERALA
I enjoyed the holiday very much. The scenery and forna were wonderful. The holiday was varied. The day on the boat on the backwater was restful after the exersion of the trek.
Most Inspirational Moment
Getting to the top of Meesapulima Peak and coping well with the challenge of camping (I am 75 yrs old)
Thoughts on Group Leader
Adji was friendly and very supportive. He was able to meet my needs before I knew of them. He took advice and thanked me for it. We enjoyed his company especialy conversations about his country and his desire to improve it.I would like to be led by him again.
Advice for Potential Travellers
I would advise people to go on the holiday and enjoy the beatiful scenery and vegitation and absorb the culture of the country.

CYCLING CUBA
Enjoyed getting to see Cuba up close and personal in a way that most tourist won’t. Found the group really compatible and lots of variety in the places we cycled.
Most Inspirational Moment
For me it had to be the time we got to spend in the Sierra Maestra Mountains
Thoughts on Group Leader
OK, but a bit burnt out since he had been doing back to back cycle trips for quite a while.
Advice for Potential Travellers
The two currency system really limits interaction with Cubans. Can't just stop at a local food stall for example. Found that quite frustrating. Also with the state running everything there was incredible amount of bureaucracy. For example, when you change money you will get a lot of large bills (50CUC notes), then if you want to use for a transaction you need to produce passport and provide address to shopkeeper!

LAND OF THE TIGER
A very cohesive group with an exceptional leader. The quest for the tiger was disappointing as we only had a very brief glimpse after 17 game drives! However there was other ,less glamorous wildlife, and the group was good fun.
Most Inspirational Moment
The Taj Mahal in Agra was truly awe inspiring ! The overnight train journey was also very memorable.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Our leader Balinder (Bali) Singh was exceptional-very sensitive, sensible with a great love and knowledge of his country with a wicked sense of humour !
Advice for Potential Travellers
This is a "full on" trip-not for wimpish lie-ins-India is an amazing place full of paradox but unmissable. Expect to be tired but happy when you return home !

CYCLE INDOCHINA & ANGKOR
Both had a great time but the guide in Vietnam was a poor cyclist and could not keep up with the group. We all got lost in Thailand as the support vehicles did not know the way and allowed part of the group to go ahead. The whole group got split up and everyone was lost for an hour on the first day.
We were worried about being part of a group as we had only cycled on holiday abroad as couple before.
We needn’t have worried !
Our group of 18 was, though, far too large especially for the guides.
Most Inspirational Moment
Crossing the border into Vietnam to be met by village children rushing out of their homes on the roadside, to say hello and wave to us!
Thoughts on Group Leader
Our group leader for the whole trip, Mo, was great although she had a difficult task at times especially as our group of 18 was too large.
Our Cambodian guide was great but the Vietnam guide was useless.
Advice for Potential Travellers
We were glad to have brought our own bikes as some of the others on the trip had problems with the hire ones being poorly maintained or the wrong size.

MARRAKECH & THE SAHARA
I felt that the tour was an excellent for both solo and people traveling as couples. The tour also had a good mix of walking and culture which I enjoyed. We were always kept busy, and I liked this pace, we fitted a lot into a week.
Most Inspirational Moment
One inspirational moment for me was the camel trek in the desert, with a long line of camels walking up and down the sand dunes, travelling slowly towards our desert camp.
Thoughts on Group Leader
The tour leader was very friendly and had good knowledge of all the places that we visited and stayed. Also the group leader was good at making sure that everyone was having a good time and alright.
Advice for Potential Travellers
If I had any advice to any potential travellers thinking about doing this tour, it would be, when you spend the night in the desert bring enough warm clothes to keep you warm all night. It will be much colder than you think!
