Prague Trips

The capital of the Czech Republic, this is a fairytale city with a modern edge. The cobbled, twisting streets of the Old Town are a pleasure to get lost in. The castle complex is one of the largest in Europe. Twinkling spires are revealed as narrow streets widen unexpectedly into ornate squares.

The city was largely undamaged during the Second World War, and it emerged from behind the Iron Curtain without the turmoil that plagued many of its neighbours during the 1990s, so many of the original historic buildings survive.

Prague holidays offer a rich cultural history – with a breathtaking mix of baroque, gothic and renaissance architecture – but there’s a rapidly growing food scene too, as well as craft beer at every junction, and classical music that infuses the soul of the city.
