Exodus cycling holidays in Germany combine exquisite natural scenery and border-hopping adventures with age-old traditions that are still very much alive and well. Whether you’re following the trail of the multi-national River Danube, circling the shoreline of Lake Constance or carving your way through beautiful Bavaria, we guarantee you won’t forget it.
On our dedicated cycle routes along the Danube, you’ll traverse steep-sided valleys and dense riverside woods on your merry way to magnificent Vienna. You can even choose to travel by bike and boat combined – fitting in stop-offs in bustling Budapest and Bratislava along the way.
When imagining our self-guided tours around Lake Constance, try to envisage stunning mountain views, café-lined waterfronts, fairy-tale palaces and daily swims in turquoise waters. You’ll be flanked by Swiss and Austrian peaks in a region that’s overflowing with history.
And then there’s the beautifully unspoilt Bavaria. Here, bratwurst, beer and lederhosen remain the order of the day – but that’s just the start. You’ll uncover a surprising landscape that features the stunning German Jura mountains in amongst winding rivers, fertile hills and hilltop castles. Our cycling trips in Germany are ready to be experienced – what are you waiting for?

14 days of biking the beautiful country side and coastal side taking boat rides to great places overnight train ride to Hanoi meeting great people along the way and spending time with a bunch of fun cyclist
This cycling trip was an amazing way to see the region. The days before Amalifi we’re a great mix of seaside views, authentic food and rustic towns. There aren’t too many tourists around which is really nice. It feels like the real Italy. We then spent the last 3 days in Amalafi which although beautiful (and my reason for doing the trip), wasn’t as great as the inital days. You get used to the smaller towns and less people, so coming to Amalfi can feel like a bit of a shock. The cycling itself was good, some tough climbs, but worth the reward of the views you see. We did cycle in 30 degree with no cloud cover each day which made it challenging, but it was well managed by our tour leader giving us ample breaks and time for water. Overall it was a fantastic trip and one I very much enjoyed.
The majority of our cycling holidays in Germany run for just over a week including flight time. If you’re pedalling from Passau to Vienna or touring around the beautiful Lake Constance, you’ll be able to enjoy 11 incredible days away from home.
