Family Adventures with Exodus
Our Family Adventure Holidays
Travelling together as a family is a great way to make shared memories that you can cherish forever. It gives all of you some much-needed time away from the daily routine. It also gives parents a chance to share their travelling know-how with their kids.
Exodus family activity holidays are specifically designed to offer a mix of education and exploration, with plenty of downtime factored in so that you all come back refreshed. From game spotting to pizza scoffing, we have adventures all over the world. Each one offers you and your family a unique experience to explore and learn together.
On our Chopsticks and Coconuts Family Holiday, you will adventure across the length and breadth of Vietnam. You’ll experience two nights on a tropical island, snorkelling in the pristine waters by day. You’ll also see the energetic Ho Chi Minh City, perfecting your chopstick skills to a fine art as you sample local cuisine.
Our Namibian Family Adventurer holidays are exciting too. Watch the sunrise from one of the highest dunes in the world and experience the breathtaking beauty of an African desert. It’s the prime location to go wildlife-spotting, as you’ll be able to watch giraffes, rhinos, elephants and lions in Etosha Wildlife Park. At night, you’ll be amazed by the sheer number of stars that look down over the Namib Desert.

FAQs on Family Adventure Holidays
What are the main highlights of Exodus Activity Holidays for families?
Our activity holidays for families are packed with exciting adventures for thrill-seekers, wildlife enthusiasts and culture lovers alike. Discovering faraway places is a great way to spend time with your children and broaden their horizons. You’ll stay in family-friendly accommodation and enjoy all the new opportunities an unfamiliar country has to offer as you sample authentic regional cuisines, try new activities, see spectacular sights and experience different ways of life.
Our guided family activity holidays are designed for children aged 9-12 and 13-16, with varying activity gradings you can refer to. What’s more, you can enjoy excellent value for your money as we offer reduced prices for children up to the age of 16.
Why choose a family activity holiday?
Our guided family activity holidays have something to suit a broad range of ages. They are specifically designed to incorporate a wide range of activities from hiking and wildlife spotting to snowshoeing. Imagine walking through the Costa Rican rainforest at night, dogsledding through the Finnish wilderness or exploring the Mekong Delta by boat! And because we grade our activities based on their difficulty, you can select the adventure to best suit your family’s abilities.
Activity holidays are a fantastic way to spend time together. By encouraging children to take part in new activities, you’re teaching them to step out of their comfort zone and take risks. This can increase their self-confidence and improve their physical health. It can also strengthen relationships and improve communication.
Cultural experiences in new countries also promote diversity, because they teach the family about different social and ethnic backgrounds.

This was a truly delightful holiday – one of my best ever. Beautiful, inspiring places to visit. Fabulous hotel with welcoming staff and delicious food. An amazing local tour guide who made us feel like VIPs. An itinerary custom-designed to delight all the family. Opportunities for the kids to learn to make local dishes in the hotel kitchen. A lovely tour group who we got on so well with. If exodus do other such holidays will join in an instant.Phil Crocker Amalfi Coast Family Adventure
Teresa Lambe Costa Rica Family EscapeGlenda made the tour! She is an excellent guide, even in torrential rainfalls she found ways to keep us excited and smiling!
Gareth Jones Vietnam Family AdventureWe had not done an adventure family holiday before and were unsure as to what to expect. Any anxieties were very quickly dispelled and we had a memorable 14 days discovering Vietnam from north to south. The schedule was paced so that we had time to recover from flights and travelling. The heat took some getting used to. Our tour guide said that Vietnam has two types of weather, hot and hotter, so don’t pack a jumper! There were five other families on the tour and we all got along really well. Our tour guide Huyen Nguyen made sure everything went smoothly and imparted her in depth knowledge of Vietnam giving us context and descriptions of her beautiful country. The tour was a mix of activities from rickshaws in Hanoi, Cooking classes in Hoi An and relaxing at Whale island. We didn’t really get into the history of the “American War” until late into the tour which was good, because Vietnam is so much more than its history! The Vietnamese people were warm, welcoming and generous. It is also helpful that English is spoken widely and quite well, which is useful as the Vietnamese language is very difficult to understand. The food was really tasty and we enjoyed the Ban-mi in particular. One final note, the Hotels were really good, particularly the Sincerity Hotel in Hoi An which has a very good swimming pool.
