Two of the must-see sites include the Blue Palace, the former residence of King Nikola, and the Cetinje Monastery, a sacred site that houses relics and treasures of great significance.

4. Ostrog Monastery: Intricately carved into the rising rock face, the Ostrog Monastery is considered by many to be the most inspiring Orthodox sacred place in the former Yugoslavia. It has become the largest religious pilgrimage site in the country, with many Orthodox Christians as well as Catholics and Muslims paying homage to St Vasilije, the founder of the 17^th-century monastery. This awe-inspiring complex comprises a series of medieval structures built into the rock face, including churches, chapels and monk cells. This trip covers so many interesting & beautiful places. Our guide was great & really enthusiastic about showing us so much of both Bosnia & Montenegro and ensuring we had a taste of the history & culture of both countries. The bus rides between destinations were in themselves really interesting passing amazing scenery (with loads of opportunity for pictures) & our guide giving us history along the way. Hotels were nice & in most locations stayed a few nights giving you a chance to get out and see the different towns. It is a varied itinerary with both beautiful & historic towns to explore & mountain walks to enjoy.
