Amazing way to experience Namibia by bike!

This is the best way to travel round Namibia, you see such diverse landscapes and a variety of wildlife too! Travelling by bike means you get to see it in a different way, even though you have some very early starts it means you have the roads to yourself and the animals are out there waiting for you!

Most Inspirational Moment

On Day 5 when we cycled through Namib Naukluft Desert, we set off before sunrise so we had the sun coming up behind us, we had a herd of mountain zebras running parrel to the cycling group it was so surreal!

Thoughts on Group Leader

Gabriel was our leader, he was so passionate about Namibia and it's people so it was lovely to experience the trip with him. He was amazing throughout with everything!

Advice for Potential Travellers

It is a unique trip! If you want a cycling adventure this is definitely, be prepared for ascents and descents and cycling through sand and bumps but the views and wildlife as all worth it, it will be the trip of a lifetime!

Shane was truly the most accommodating - genuinely looking after the smallest needs of each traveler.

Advice for Potential Travellers

South African Rands are widely accepted. Binoculars are a MUST!

Spectacular Egypt

I highly recommend booking this trip if you want a fascinating exploration through ancient and modern Egypt. We got to see so many places that felt straight out of a National Geographic documentary! We had a small group of seven plus our exceptional tour guide named Rania who helped make this truly the trip of a lifetime. I have been a lot of cool places in the world but I believe this may be this coolest thing I have ever done. 10/10

Most Inspirational Moment

Entering the tomb of Ramses VI in the Valley of the Kings has to be my greatest highlight from the tour.

Thoughts on Group Leader

I am convinced we had the best tour leader on the planet- she is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, energetic, and a true pleasure to be around. Her name is Rania and I hope you get her on your tour!

Advice for Potential Travellers

The riverboat element of this trip was a huge highlight. It was a very unique way to travel and we all had an absolute blast on that boat.

Highlights of Albania

Very interesting country with a deep history and much to offer the traveller. Majestic scenery, good food and friendly people

Most Inspirational Moment

Amazing views at Kruje and the ancient city of Berat.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Out group leader was Edjon. He was fantastic. Passionate about his country and a fountain of knowledge on history and culture. He has an infectious humour and together with our driver Medi made our tour unforgettable. I have been on many tours and I can say Edjon was the best leader and Medi the safest, considerate and professional driver I have met.

Advice for Potential Travellers

Go now before the country becomes popular and prices increase

Amazing Tour with amazing views!

A truly unforgettable experience. From the breathtaking views of the Italian coastline that were enhanced by well-planned walks that allowed us to truly take in all the scenery, to excursions to Pompeii and Vesuvius to add some historical context to the adventure. Stayed in a lovely and friendly hotel which made for a perfect spot after each day of exploration. Highly recommend this tour!

Most Inspirational Moment

Reaching the Top of Mount Vesuvius which felt like a massive achievement being able to climb to the top of a Volcano

Thoughts on Group Leader

Veriano was an amazing group leader who had a great balance of ensuring everyone is safe throughout the trip alongside giving knowledge of the local area and also providing great entertainment and jokes for all the travelers who took him very well.

Advice for Potential Travellers

Stay hydrated, there are plenty of walks Be prepared to hit very high heights (although the views will be worth it) Bring cash as not everywhere takes card

Beautiful ornate buildings, welcoming locals and a rich history.

A fascinating mix of tree-filled, modern cities and desert with welcoming locals and well-situated hotels. Uzbekistan is a country I would recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different. Bukhara had a lovely atmosphere and which I enjoyed exploring in the evenings.
The mosaic-tiled buildings, although there are a lot of them throughout the trip never fail to be awe-inspiring with the detail and care put into their construction.
Other highlights included a visit to a desert fort after a delicious traditional lunch at a neighbouring yurt camp and the Savitsky Museum/Nukus Museum of Art in Nukus, which houses a large collection of ancient artifacts and soviet era avant-garde artwork.
The food was also fantastic value.

Most Inspirational Moment

Samarkand's Registan Square, although being a familiar sight in brochures and travel guides is just as breath-taking in real life with a lovely light show in the evening.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Our tour leader was the wonderful Dilshod, a guide with many years of experience, incredible knowledge, attentive and organised. A proud Uzbek who can answer any question and is happy to share his stories and

Advice for Potential Travellers

While you're there use a mixture of US Dollars and Uzbek Som - souvenirs were all quoted in dollars. It's best to have clean crisp new dollars to exchange. A scarf to cover your head and long trousers when entering mosques is essential but shorts down to the knee are acceptable for most other days.

The Best trip to seel there is in Northern India and Nepal

This is a great trip as you get to see all the best spots in North India and Nepal, there are some long drives over bumpy roads in Nepal especially. Prepare fro some longer drives but this allows you to see the country side and get away from the larger cities. Bring some good walking shoes as we do a day hike in Pokhara.

Most Inspirational Moment

Seeing Taj Mahal, what an jaw - dropping experience to see it in person !!

Thoughts on Group Leader

Jatin our leader was amazing and very accommodating, he always told us about the next day activities and what to expect.

Advice for Potential Travellers

Bring a chain and lock for the train journey, you can purchase there if needed. Bring comfortable walking shoes as we do a lot of walks around the old forts and palaces.

An Adventure Through Hidden Gems and Warm Hospitality

This fast-paced journey through Albania gave us a great feel of Albania and covered most of the South. From morning swims in Lake Ohrid to soaking in the hot springs near Permet at sunset and exploring the Adriatic at Porto Palermo. Each day offered something new, with just one night in most hotels to maximize our time. Exploring Berat’s castle in the evening, spotting bunkers across the countryside, and ending in the picture-perfect town of Krujë made for unforgettable moments. Our guide was wonderful—his deep love and knowledge of Albania brought each stop to life.

Most Inspirational Moment

Swimming in the 'hot' (warm) pools at golden hour was unforgettable. With the iconic stone bridge arching over leading to the springs and the group in high spirits after our picturesque drive through the mountains, it felt like a hidden oasis—even with a few other travellers around. You can tell this spot will eventually develop, but for now, it feels like a secret discovery.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Our guide was exceptional—he was so proud of his country and shared information with a historian’s passion. He was like a walking fact book, sometimes going off on tangents, but his enthusiasm was contagious. Behind his easygoing style, he had carefully planned every stop, ensuring perfect timing without it ever feeling rigid. He looked out for each traveller, making sure everyone felt safe, engaged, and valued.

Advice for Potential Travellers

Albania is still primarily a cash-based country, so be prepared. Prices are lower than in neighboring countries, though they’re gradually rising. The service here is friendly but still developing, so expect a few quirks with timing and bill splitting. Lastly, if you’re prone to car sickness, consider bringing medication for the winding mountain roads!

Fantastic experience

It’s a fascinating country with a lot to offer. There is so much history and the people are very friendly and genuinely interested in you. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

Most Inspirational Moment

For me, the most amazing place was Kruje. Sitting on the terrace looking at the views of the castle and the Skanderberg museum was fantastic.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Our group leader, Edjon was the best. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. He kept us informed and amused all day. Medi our driver was very professional and a lot of fun. He's also a good driver so you feel safe with him

Advice for Potential Travellers

Do the your but ask for Medi and Edjon.

Fabulous.

An enlightening, entertaining experience in a country with a past that most of us can barely begin to comprehend.
Stunning scenery, some ancient architecture, mixed with the more mundane day to day reality of life.

Most Inspirational Moment

The view over lake Ohrid, lunch in a private garden, ancient ruins, the views, the Albanian people…

Thoughts on Group Leader

Ed, our guide gave us an enthusiastic and detailed insight into both recent and ancient history with passion, whilst ensuring the welfare and comfort of the group. He was both friendly and professional. Di Di (Medi) our driver was enthusiastic, entertaining and caring. His driving made the travelling exceptionally comfortable. The rapport between the guide and driver certainly added value to the trip and helped to bond the group and ensure that we were comfortable.

Advice for Potential Travellers

Albania is developing rapidly.
