At an astonishing 25 metres wide and 60 metre drop, Skogafoss waterfall is something else to behold. It’s one of the biggest and most impressive waterfalls in Europe, and the amount of spray often causes single or double rainbows on sunny days, while the roar of what looks almost like a solid wall of water is astonishing. During the winter it’s frozen into an icy blue cascade.
